Who We Are
We are a dedicated group of volunteers, committed to Helping Our Kids Learn About Business (HOK LAB), saving and investing. Our mission is to show our youth how to invest and how to enhance their business and financial education through their own personal endeavors. We accomplish this through our own Investment Club for Kids and by the way of periodic savings and investment workshops offered through our Benchley Series on Personal Finance.
Since 1991, the Foundation, located in Manassas, VA., has progressed tremendously in helping young people reach their full potential as investors and entrepreneurs. We have sponsored our annual/HOK LAB/Summer Camp in Northern Virginia since1994. The camp is free to youths, ages to 17
The Foundation was named after Jimmie Jones' mother, Lula Beatrice Bailey and created on the premise that kids should be introduced to entrepreneur activities at an early age.
